Alvin L. Wagner III, known as Chip, has been appraising residential properties in Northern Illinois for over 40 years. He began his career as a real estate appraiser in 1985 as an apprentice to his father Alvin Wagner, Jr. Since 2001, he has been sole owner of A.L. Wagner Appraisal Group, Inc.
Since 1990, Chip has primarily focused his experience as a real estate appraiser and consultant for residential property valuations including IRS-compliant appraisals for estates, trusts and gift/charitable donation; mortgage lending; employee relocation; buyer/seller consultation; and litigation including divorce, real estate damages and residential condemnation/eminent domain.
He has prepared appraisal reports and/or reviewed appraisals for community banks, national lenders, law firms, accountants, trust departments, relocation management companies and private individuals.
